The referee ignored Norsholm IFK's protests and gave Anthon Joensson a yellow card for diving instead. After 4 played minutes Norsholm IFK got a freekick which was hit by Anthon Joensson. Sven-Ove Vennerlund struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Mårten Sandberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rottne IF Fotboll. The Norsholm IFK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Norsholm IFK's Mårten Sandberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Norsholm IFK from getting a goal against them. Mårten Sandberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Göran Törnkvist in the 28th minute of play. Rottne IF Fotboll's Kjell Berggren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Klement Cielencki in the 29th minute of play. The supporters of Rottne IF Fotboll booed when Norsholm IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliks Zawaski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mårten Sandberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mikael Forssell in the 31st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Göran Törnkvist in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mårten Sandberg saved Norsholm IFK from getting behind. Kjell Berggren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdemar Vikström in the 35th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Rottne IF Fotboll's Göran Törnkvist got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 37th minute Feliks Zawaski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kjell Berggren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Göran Törnkvist to make the kick off. Kjell Berggren was a little too slow when Feliks Zawaski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 0-4. Kjell Berggren made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Klement Cielencki sent off a good shot on target. After 60 played minutes Rottne IF Fotboll got a freekick which was hit by Linus Eriksson. Klement Cielencki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Kjell Berggren made a huge save. With a little luck, Rottne IF Fotboll's Kjell Berggren got control of the ball when Valdemar Vikström tried to sneak it across the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Rottne IF Fotboll's goal looked a bit too open when Valdemar Vikström came free, but Kjell Berggren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kjell Berggren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliks Zawaski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 94 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rottne IF Fotboll's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Feliks Zawaski was slow to take the kick. During this time Norsholm IFK's players had a chance to rest. Norsholm IFK played a much better game than Rottne IF Fotboll and deserved their victory. The Rottne IF Fotboll players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
