In the 4th minute, IFK Götet's Mo Yang Quan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Omar Chap sped through Malmö Torpedos's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Edvin Lindblom. Jens-Ola Lövkvist's late challenge caught a IFK Götet's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jens-Ola Lövkvist helped the player get up and apologised. In the 12th minute, Jens-Ola Lövkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edvin Lindblom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mo Yang Quan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Omar Chap had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Omar Chap's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edvin Lindblom was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. If Omar Chap had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Malmö Torpedos's Edvin Lindblom proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Malmö Torpedos from getting a goal against them. In the 27th match minute, Malmö Torpedos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Olofsson to maneuver through the defense. After 29 minutes, Sakarias Säf mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Malmö Torpedos and the IFK Götet players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Malmö Torpedos's Sakarias Säf got a free kick in the 29th minute. After 33 minutes of play, IFK Götet's Mo Yang Quan made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edvin Lindblom was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 37 played minutes IFK Götet got a freekick which was hit by Mo Yang Quan. In the 40th minute, Torbjörn Sillén hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Omar Chap managed to get in a good position for a shot. IFK Götet's supporters rose to their feet, but Omar Chap was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edvin Lindblom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edvin Lindblom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mo Yang Quan, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Eddy Olsson's late challenge caught a Malmö Torpedos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eddy Olsson helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to IFK Götet getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Eddy Olsson hit a great ball. Ingmar Målare recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Omar Chap stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Malmö Torpedos's zone, Mo Yang Quan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edvin Lindblom came out of the goal and Mo Yang Quan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. During the 58th minute of the match Sakarias Säf completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Sakarias Säf a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of IFK Götet booed when Malmö Torpedos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sakarias Säf didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 60 played minutes, IFK Götet's Axel Fransson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Edvin Lindblom came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in IFK Götet reached it. If Ingmar Målare had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Malmö Torpedos's Jens-Åke Lange was substituted for Torbjörn Sillén. Mo Yang Quan took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edvin Lindblom. Edvin Lindblom dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. After 73 played minutes IFK Götet got a freekick which was hit by Adam Håning. In the 74th minute, Gustav Svanström sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and IFK Götet's Marcial Bide didn't even have to move. Adam Håning's late challenge caught a Malmö Torpedos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adam Håning helped the player get up and apologised. 86 minutes into the match, IFK Götet's goal looked a bit too open when Jens-Ola Lövkvist came free, but Marcial Bide reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Omar Chap struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Edvin Lindblom didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for IFK Götet. When IFK Götet's Omar Chap in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Malmö Torpedos's goalie prevented a goal. 93 minutes into the match, Malmö Torpedos's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Chap came free, but Edvin Lindblom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Malmö Torpedos players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for IFK Götet.
