Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Douglas Lundqvist started the match with the kick off. Göran Törnkvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Einar Kilstedt made a huge save. 11 minutes into the match, Rottne IF Fotboll's goal looked a bit too open when Douglas Lundqvist came free, but Kjell Berggren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kurt Hegg charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kurt Hegg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kurt Hegg hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Georg Qvalfeldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Kjell Berggren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Rottne IF Fotboll booed when Live-Red FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Georg Qvalfeldt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kjell Berggren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fredrik Kinnman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kjell Berggren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Georg Qvalfeldt in the 28th minute of the match. When Kurt Hegg was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 31 minutes had been played. After 32 played minutes Rottne IF Fotboll got a freekick which was hit by Kurt Hegg. Jan-Olof Malm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the game, Douglas Lundqvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Kjell Berggren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Stefan Hellkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Douglas Lundqvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Live-Red FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Kjell Berggren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Olof Malm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In a very dangerous position, a player in Rottne IF Fotboll fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 55th minute. Penalty! Stefan Hellkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Einar Kilstedt having to interfere. After 65 minutes, Douglas Lundqvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Live-Red FK and the Rottne IF Fotboll players grew even worse after the yellow card. 67 minutes into the match, Göran Törnkvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Einar Kilstedt. Live-Red FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Göran Törnkvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. In the 72nd minute, Osvald Spets hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Göran Törnkvist struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Einar Kilstedt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rottne IF Fotboll. After a rather tough play, Live-Red FK's Jan-Olof Malm got a free kick in the 75th minute. Einar Kilstedt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Göran Törnkvist went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Göran Törnkvist in the 82nd minute of play forced Live-Red FK's goalkeeper Einar Kilstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Einar Kilstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Hellkvist in the 85th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Per-Arne Samuelsson during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Per-Arne Samuelsson kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Kjell Berggren was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Douglas Lundqvist. Mikael Forssell charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mikael Forssell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 88 played minutes Rottne IF Fotboll got a freekick which was hit by Mikael Forssell. Kjell Berggren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredrik Kinnman, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Göran Törnkvist in the 99th minute of play forced Live-Red FK's goalkeeper Einar Kilstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
