An unexpectedly hard shot by Morgan Delisle in the 36th minute of play forced Knäred IF's goalkeeper Rickard Lundström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38thth minute of the game Benne Beer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Östers IF's Björn Nyström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hubert Hult charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hubert Hult the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Östers IF booed when Knäred IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hubert Hult didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jens-Ove Bengtsson to make the kick off. Rickard Lundström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Ove Bengtsson in the 89th minute of play. After 90 played minutes Östers IF got a freekick which was hit by Florian Stoorms. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 92nd minute of the game. One of Östers IF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Knäred IF:s goal. Knäred IF's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
