Orion BK were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Jojjen Bois's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Torgny Fågel took the corner. Edvard Nyberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Robert Byström made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yngve Nordal got free with Robert Byström in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edvard Nyberg in the 41st minute of play forced Orion BK's goalkeeper Robert Byström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Jonathan Andersson put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ove Lundkvist. After the first half Orion BK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Jonathan Andersson made the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Andersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jonathan Andersson came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Orion BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonathan Andersson couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Melker Berg during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Andersson in the 74th minute of play forced Jojjen Bois's goalkeeper Ove Lundkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Jojjen Bois getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Tomas Lindberg hit a great ball. 82 minutes into the match, Orion BK's goal looked a bit too open when Edvard Nyberg came free, but Robert Byström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ove Lundkvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonathan Andersson's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. With a little luck, Jojjen Bois's Ove Lundkvist got control of the ball when Jan-Olof Asklöv tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Edvard Nyberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
