Edmund Danielsson started the match with the kick off. Björn Nyström didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Stångby BK's Dag Wennersten shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Björn Nyström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Egil Colin, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Edmund Danielsson notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Östers IF's Björn Nyström. Björn Nyström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edmund Österberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens-Ove Bengtsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jens-Ove Bengtsson in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edmund Österberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Östers IF's Jens-Ove Bengtsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edmund Österberg. That made the score 1-2 after 24 minutes of play. After recieving a nice pass, Stångby BK's Egil Colin tried to score from far away in the 28th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Björn Nyström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmund Danielsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jens-Ove Bengtsson in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edmund Österberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 38th minute, Edmund Danielsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Björn Nyström was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Jens-Ove Bengtsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jens-Ove Bengtssons short, quick shot in the 46thth minute got Edmund Österberg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jens-Ove Bengtsson to make the kick off. Björn Nyström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmund Danielsson in the 53rd minute of play. Edmund Österberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jens-Ove Bengtsson's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 57th minute, but Björn Nyström got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Östers IF hanging dry this time. Egil Colin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Björn Nyström made a huge save. Björn Nyström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Egil Colin in the 62nd minute. After 62 minutes, Patrik Abrahamsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Östers IF and the Stångby BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Östers IF getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Patrik Abrahamsson hit a great ball. Egil Colin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Björn Nyström made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Egil Colin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Björn Nyström. That made the score 1-4 in the 69 minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Egil Colin could shoot a difficult shot in the 72nd minute, which Björn Nyström however easily saved by the left post. In the 72nd minute, Stångby BK's Egil Colin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Björn Nyström. Björn Nyström yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dag Wennersten got free with Björn Nyström in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmund Danielsson in the 81st minute of play forced Östers IF's goalkeeper Björn Nyström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Egil Colin hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Björn Nyström came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Stångby BK's Edmund Danielsson. But to his dismay, Edmund Danielsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmund Danielsson in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Björn Nyström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Isac Arenberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90th match minute, Stångby BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dag Wennersten to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute Jens-Ove Bengtsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmund Österberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chants of Stångby BK echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Östers IF had held the ball for most of the match.
