In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Östers IF's goalkeeper Björn Nyström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yngve Nordal in the 27th minute of play forced Östers IF's goalkeeper Björn Nyström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ove Lundkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Folke Hedström in the 33rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Jojjen Bois's Sven Eckegren got a free kick in the 37th minute. Björn Nyström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrik Lundqvist in the 52nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Östers IF's zone, Edvard Nyberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Björn Nyström came out of the goal and Edvard Nyberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Jojjen Bois's Yngve Nordal got a free kick in the 64th minute. Björn Nyström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yngve Nordal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute, Felix Terzian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th minute, Mattias Boberg sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Östers IF's Björn Nyström didn't even have to move.
