Valentin Ek charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valentin Ek the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of SG Nordring booed when Kings of the North was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Ek didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Roch Nocny came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the SG Nordring fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roch Nocny couldn't finish the play. SG Nordring's defense didn't have a chance, in the 14th minute, when Jerry Grönlund scored to the left of an out of position Kjell Hultstrand, making the score, 1-0. Kjell Hultstrand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mårten Nyström in the 19th minute of the match. After 21 minutes of play, SG Nordring's Dinko Tenchev made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tony Helander was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tony Helander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dinko Tenchev in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Emil Berg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Kings of the North's Niclas Samuelsson got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute Björn Brandin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Helander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute, Konrad Eriksson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tony Helander was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 34th minute, Sten Ström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Björn Brandin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tony Helander. Kings of the North's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, SG Nordring's Joachim Ahlgren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tony Helander made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jerry Grönlund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kings of the North's Tony Helander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Kings of the North from getting a goal against them. Emil Berg kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dinko Tenchev got free with Tony Helander in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 58th minute, SG Nordring's Joachim Ahlgren dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. With a little luck, Kings of the North's Tony Helander got control of the ball when Roch Nocny tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Kings of the North booed when SG Nordring was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reine Böcklund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kjell Hultstrand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerry Grönlund in the 70th minute of the match. Joachim Ahlgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute Dinko Tenchev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Helander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 79 minutes, Marcus Hagström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kings of the North and the SG Nordring players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marcus Hagström kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Kings of the North's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Roch Nocny fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Konrad Eriksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tony Helander having to interfere. Kjell Hultstrand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Sjöö in the 85th minute of play. In the 88th match minute, Kings of the North was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mårten Nyström to maneuver through the defense. Tony Helander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dinko Tenchev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Kings of the North's Tony Helander got control of the ball when Joachim Ahlgren tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 95th minute Johannes Boman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Helander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded SG Nordring left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Kings of the North.
