The referee showed Ralf Törnkvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Elvendale getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Ralf Törnkvist hit a great ball. Björn Brandin struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Herbert Friberger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SG Nordring. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rune Wallmark in the 7th minute of play forced SG Nordring's goalkeeper Kjell Hultstrand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, SG Nordring's goal looked a bit too open when Rune Wallmark came free, but Kjell Hultstrand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Herbert Friberger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dinko Tenchev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the match, Elvendale's goalkeeper Herbert Friberger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dinko Tenchev. Rune Wallmark succeeded in the game's 20th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. Konrad Eriksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 28 played minutes Elvendale got a freekick which was hit by Christer Jonasson. In the 34th match minute, SG Nordring was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joachim Ahlgren to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute Konrad Eriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herbert Friberger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joachim Ahlgren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Herbert Friberger made a huge save. 38 minutes into the game, Joachim Ahlgren recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Herbert Friberger. Joachim Ahlgren showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. In the last second Herbert Friberger throw himself and got hold of the ball when Dinko Tenchev in the 42ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Dinko Tenchev received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Herbert Friberger came out and tried to block the shot, but Dinko Tenchev slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 46th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ingvar Harlén to make the kick off. Dinko Tenchev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Herbert Friberger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christer Jonasson hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After 57 minutes, Felix Bennet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Elvendale and the SG Nordring players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Elvendale getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Felix Bennet hit a great ball. Herbert Friberger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konrad Eriksson in the 58th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dinko Tenchev in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Herbert Friberger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Konrad Eriksson took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Herbert Friberger. Herbert Friberger dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Herbert Friberger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dinko Tenchev in the 65th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Björn Brandin in the 78th minute of play forced Elvendale's goalkeeper Herbert Friberger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herbert Friberger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joachim Ahlgren in the 79th minute of the match. Herbert Friberger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konrad Eriksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elvendale's Herbert Friberger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joachim Ahlgren in the 81st minute of play. Herbert Friberger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Björn Brandin in the 82nd minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Ingvar Harlén notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of SG Nordring's Kjell Hultstrand. Kjell Hultstrand was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 88th match minute, SG Nordring was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Holmgren to maneuver through the defense. After 96 minutes of play, SG Nordring's Dinko Tenchev made it 6-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Herbert Friberger was left in no man's land by his defense there! Herbert Friberger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konrad Eriksson in the 99th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the SG Nordring players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
