Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Wargöns IK's Gösta Sundberg started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Ivar Tinglöf got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ivar Tinglöf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Matthias Stensson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 15 minutes into the game, Sigvard Lang was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wargöns IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oxie IK the free kick. Sigvard Lang hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Ivar Tinglöf managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oxie IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivar Tinglöf was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matthias Stensson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ivar Tinglöf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matthias Stensson having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Wargöns IK's goal looked a bit too open when Ivar Tinglöf came free, but Matthias Stensson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute Oxie IK were awarded a corner. Sven-Edvin Falck went to the cornerflag to take it. Jonathan Lönn was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After 27 minutes, David Burman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wargöns IK and the Oxie IK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 28 played minutes Wargöns IK got a freekick which was hit by David Burman. Ivar Tinglöf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Matthias Stensson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute Jonathan Lönn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matthias Stensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute of the match Oxie IK got a corner. Wargöns IK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sven-Edvin Falck ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ivar Tinglöf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matthias Stensson having to interfere. Matthias Stensson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Strömqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ralf Hjelm took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Georg Lövgren. Georg Lövgren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Peter Strömqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ivar Tinglöf struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Matthias Stensson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oxie IK. In the 55th minute, Karl-Axel Ferm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th minute, Magnus Ahlbeck left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wargöns IK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. The supporters of Wargöns IK booed when Oxie IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Edvin Falck didn't get a good kick on the ball. 63 minutes into the game, Gösta Sundberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Georg Lövgren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Krister Jonsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Matthias Stensson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Oxie IK's Allan Fransson got a free kick in the 69th minute. If Ivar Tinglöf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wargöns IK's David Burman got his second yellow card of the match in the 74th minute. The referee ordered David Burman off the ground. In the 75th minute, David Burman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Peter Strömqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matthias Stensson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Karl-Axel Ferm showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-2 in the 80 minute of play. The supporters of Wargöns IK booed when Oxie IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Allan Fransson didn't get a good kick on the ball.
