Gösta Ryberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernst Örn in the 44th minute of the match. IF Karlstad Fotboll's Josef Hasselqvist couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 47th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ransäter. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Ernst Örn made the kick off in the second half. Maximilian Åhman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Michael Johansson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. IF Karlstad Fotboll's Michael Johansson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save IF Karlstad Fotboll from getting a goal against them. Arne Linqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 59 minutes into the match, IF Karlstad Fotboll's goal looked a bit too open when Maximilian Åhman came free, but Michael Johansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 60 minutes, Arne Linqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ransäter's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arne Linqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hugo Söderkvist's late challenge caught a Ransäter's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hugo Söderkvist helped the player get up and apologised. After 61 played minutes IF Karlstad Fotboll got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Söderkvist. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Maximilian Åhman took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Michael Johansson to make any attempt to save it. Ransäter's Arne Linqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maximilian Åhman charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maximilian Åhman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 76 played minutes Ransäter got a freekick which was hit by Maximilian Åhman. Jens Flink fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gösta Ryberg having to interfere. Gösta Ryberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernst Örn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Michael Johansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximilian Åhman in the 83rd minute of play. In the 89th match minute, IF Karlstad Fotboll was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernst Örn to maneuver through the defense. When Nils-Emil Pettersson came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Ransäter fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nils-Emil Pettersson couldn't finish the play. Michael Johansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximilian Åhman in the 96th minute of play. The Ransäter players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented IF Karlstad Fotboll from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
