Kaj Granberg started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Göran Holmgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Näfver saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benjamin Näfver made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rasmus Söderberg in the 7th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Läckeby's Stig-Åke Gullesson got a free kick in the 11th minute. When Rasmus Söderberg came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Skillingaryd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rasmus Söderberg couldn't finish the play. Benjamin Näfver showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rasmus Söderberg in the 18th minute of the match. When Göran Holmgren came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Skillingaryd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Göran Holmgren couldn't finish the play. In the 21st minute, Rasmus Söderberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Skillingaryd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 25 minutes into the match, Läckeby's goal looked a bit too open when Rasmus Söderberg came free, but Benjamin Näfver reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benjamin Näfver showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Göran Holmgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Rasmus Söderberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Bållström in the 34th minute of play forced Läckeby's goalkeeper Benjamin Näfver to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benjamin Näfver showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rasmus Söderberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Göran Holmgren in the 36th minute of play forced Läckeby's goalkeeper Benjamin Näfver to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Skillingaryd's Göran Holmgren in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Forsberg in the 45th minute of play forced Läckeby's goalkeeper Benjamin Näfver to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rasmus Söderberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Näfver having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Göran Holmgren made the kick off in the second half. Kaj Granberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Arman Alebäck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rasmus Söderberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Läckeby's defense didn't have a chance, in the 60th minute, when Göran Holmgren scored to the left of an out of position Benjamin Näfver, making the score, 0-3. 63 minutes into the match, Göran Holmgren notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Läckeby's Benjamin Näfver. Benjamin Näfver was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Läckeby's Benjamin Näfver played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Göran Holmgren in the 66th minute of play. Rasmus Söderberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Benjamin Näfver made a huge save. In the 71st minute, Reine Fors hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Bållström in the 73rd minute of play forced Läckeby's goalkeeper Benjamin Näfver to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute of the match, Rasmus Söderberg got a very nice opportunity to score, but Benjamin Näfver was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Rasmus Söderberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benjamin Näfver having to make a save. Läckeby's Benjamin Näfver proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Läckeby from getting a goal against them. If Göran Holmgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benjamin Näfver was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Roland Bållström showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 92 minute of play. Skillingaryd played a much better game than Läckeby and deserved their victory. The Läckeby players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
