Kalle Grubb showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joar Forssell, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Joar Forssell scored 0-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kalle Grubb, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Skurup booed when IF Karlstad Fotboll was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sigvard Vinström didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, IF Karlstad Fotboll's Josef Hasselqvist got a free kick in the 24th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Skurup's Christian Lindgren broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Joar Forssell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kalle Grubb having to interfere. Kalle Grubb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Apelqvist in the 34th minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Jonas Askberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Skurup's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave IF Karlstad Fotboll the free kick. In the 40th minute, Jens Flink left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The IF Karlstad Fotboll fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Jens Flink's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Kalle Grubb firmly grabbed it by the left post. Skurup's Kalle Grubb proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Skurup from getting a goal against them. Jens Flink could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Kalle Grubb made a huge save. Kalle Grubb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joar Forssell in the 63rd minute of play. In the 66th minute, Jens Flink ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kalle Grubb was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 70th minute Joar Forssell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kalle Grubb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Joar Forssell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute, Joar Forssell fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Kalle Grubb showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joar Forssell in the 77th minute of the match. Torbjörn Rolfsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Johansson having to interfere. A collision led to IF Karlstad Fotboll getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Sigvard Vinström hit a great ball. When Harry Kvarnström fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Skurup's protests and gave Harry Kvarnström a yellow card for diving instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jens Flink got free with Kalle Grubb in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Torbjörn Rolfsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Michael Johansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 94 minutes of play Skurup's Harry Kvarnström was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 94th minute, Harry Kvarnström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Skurup's Kalle Grubb proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Skurup from getting a goal against them. When the match was over IF Karlstad Fotboll could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Skurup throughout the match.
