Spectators: 7498 (Terracing: 5624, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Torgny Dal took the kick off in the first half of the match. Jens-Ola Siöberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximilian Åhman in the 6th minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Aaron Flinck in the 13th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Midland FC's Jakob Winström. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Jerry Aspengren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Midland FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jerry Aspengren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gösta Ryberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 16th minute, Rickard Göransson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd match minute, Midland FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dennis Siöberg to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Pilberg in the 25th minute of play forced Ransäter's goalkeeper Gösta Ryberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Ransäter's goal looked a bit too open when Kevin Pilberg came free, but Gösta Ryberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute Torgny Dal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gösta Ryberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Torgny Dal in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gösta Ryberg saved Ransäter from getting behind. Aaron Flinck made in the 42nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Patric Sundberg immediately put the ball in play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maximilian Åhman was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Dennis Siöberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Midland FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ransäter the free kick. After 52 played minutes Midland FC got a freekick which was hit by Dennis Siöberg. After a defensive mix-up in Midland FC's zone, Arne Linqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jens-Ola Siöberg came out of the goal and Arne Linqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Nils-Emil Pettersson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jens-Ola Siöberg was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Jerry Aspengren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Ransäter's Gösta Ryberg got control of the ball when Kevin Pilberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gösta Ryberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torgny Dal in the 72nd minute of play. Torgny Dal succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-1 in the 82nd playminute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aaron Flinck during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ransäter's Gösta Ryberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Ransäter from getting a goal against them. After 95 minutes of play, Midland FC's Jerry Aspengren made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gösta Ryberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match was over Midland FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ransäter throughout the match.
