Spectators: 7495 (Terracing: 5622, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Henric Wallengren got the match started through his kick off. Börje Eliasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joakim Smedfeldt in the 3rd minute of play. A collision led to VSGM getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Stefan Nyman hit a great ball. 16 minutes into the match, VSGM's goal looked a bit too open when Vilhelm Bengtsson came free, but Börje Eliasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Börje Eliasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vilhelm Bengtsson in the 21st minute of the match. Börje Eliasson came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Irak's Lars Rolandsson. But to his dismay, Lars Rolandsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 28 minutes into the game, Lars Rolandsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Börje Eliasson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vilhelm Bengtsson in the 33rd minute of play forced VSGM's goalkeeper Börje Eliasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Vilhelm Bengtsson came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Irak fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vilhelm Bengtsson couldn't finish the play. Börje Eliasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Rolandsson in the 39th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Irak's Lars Rolandsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Börje Eliasson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 42 minutes into the match, VSGM's goal looked a bit too open when Vilhelm Bengtsson came free, but Börje Eliasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 45 minutes, Bernt Tinglöv successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a little luck, Irak's Bernt Tinglöv got control of the ball when Jan Uggla tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lars Rolandsson made a kick off. After some careless play in the VSGM defense, Vilhelm Bengtsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Börje Eliasson. The VSGM fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Börje Eliasson should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lars Rolandsson in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Börje Eliasson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 65th minute, Vilhelm Bengtsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Börje Eliasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Rolandsson in the 70th minute of the match. Arne Åström's late challenge caught a Irak's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arne Åström helped the player get up and apologised. After 73 played minutes VSGM got a freekick which was hit by Arne Åström. Vilhelm Bengtsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 82 minutes into the game, Daniel Elg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Börje Eliasson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Melker Vennerdal received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Börje Eliasson came out and tried to block the shot, but Melker Vennerdal slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 86th minute. Börje Eliasson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Rolandsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Irak's Lars Rolandsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Börje Eliasson. That made the score 0-6 after 93 minutes of play. Helge Lustig hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Irak played a much better game than VSGM and deserved their victory. The VSGM players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
