The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven Snell got free with Bo Spets in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bo Spets made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Sven Snell sent off a good shot on target. Hemavan FF's Kurt Sundberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivar Lövskog in the 11th minute of play. After 13 minutes of play, Kvicksund's Henry Josefsson made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kurt Sundberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sven Snell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Bo Spets tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Jakob Lennartsson had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. When Verner Enström fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kvicksund's protests and gave Verner Enström a yellow card for diving instead. Hemavan FF made a substitution. Tommy Grep replaced Jakob Lennartsson. Kurt Sundberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henry Josefsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Calle Dalgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the match, Kvicksund's goal looked a bit too open when Leif Springfält came free, but Bo Spets reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tommy Grep received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bo Spets came out and tried to block the shot, but Tommy Grep slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 35th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filip Viberg during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 39th match minute, Kvicksund was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filip Viberg to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Leif Springfält took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Bo Spets to make any attempt to save it. Sven Snell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bo Spets read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. After having played for 47 minutes, Tommy Grep managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hemavan FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tommy Grep was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ivar Lövskog to make the kick off. If Sven Snell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bo Spets showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leif Springfält, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 64 minutes into the match, Kvicksund's goal looked a bit too open when Leif Springfält came free, but Bo Spets reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Calle Dalgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute, Kvicksund's Ivar Lövskog dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-2. Ivar Lövskog fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurt Sundberg having to interfere. Sven-Ove Borre kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Gustaf Erserman hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Kenny Flink took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kurt Sundberg. Hemavan FF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Kvicksund's Bo Spets played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven Snell in the 87th minute of play. Bo Spets showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leif Springfält in the 89th minute of the match.
