If Lars Rolandsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Good-ass Hoopti Ridah getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Fred Strand hit a great ball. If Vilhelm Bengtsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Irak booed when Good-ass Hoopti Ridah was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fred Strand didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernt Tinglöv took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eric Björling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Viktor Nordin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Rolandsson in the 16th minute of play. If Bo-Erik Bergqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Irak's zone, Bo-Erik Bergqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernt Tinglöv came out of the goal and Bo-Erik Bergqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bo-Erik Bergqvist in the 22nd minute of play forced Irak's goalkeeper Bernt Tinglöv to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eric Björling recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Irak's Bernt Tinglöv played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Björling in the 27th minute of play. After having played for 28 minutes, Bo-Erik Bergqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Good-ass Hoopti Ridah's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bo-Erik Bergqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 32 minutes into the game, one of Irak:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 35th minute there was a penalty for Good-ass Hoopti Ridah. Isaac Kilberg stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Bernt Tinglöv. 0-1. Vilhelm Bengtsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Viktor Nordin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vilhelm Bengtsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Viktor Nordin made a huge save. Irak's Vilhelm Bengtsson got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joakim Smedfeldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viktor Nordin having to interfere. After the first half Good-ass Hoopti Ridah were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eric Björling to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, Irak's Vilhelm Bengtsson made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Viktor Nordin was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Irak's Melker Vennerdal got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 58th minute, Bo-Erik Bergqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 59th minute, Joakim Smedfeldt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 64 minutes into the match, Irak's goalkeeper Bernt Tinglöv had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bo-Erik Bergqvist. Bernt Tinglöv made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eric Björling in the 66th minute of play. When Eric Björling, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 70 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Bernt Tinglöv was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 82nd match minute, Irak was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Elg to maneuver through the defense. Bo-Erik Bergqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernt Tinglöv having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Richard Bern fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
