An unexpectedly hard shot by Inge Rudberg in the 9th minute of play forced VSGM's goalkeeper Börje Eliasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the VSGM defense, Aaron Hermansson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Börje Eliasson. The VSGM fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Börje Eliasson should have stopped the shot. 17 minutes into the match, Inge Rudberg notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of VSGM's Börje Eliasson. Börje Eliasson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 24 minutes into the match, VSGM's goal looked a bit too open when Aaron Hermansson came free, but Börje Eliasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jan Uggla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Henric Wallengren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Georg Johansson having to make a save. When Henric Wallengren came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the VSGM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henric Wallengren couldn't finish the play. After 38 played minutes Fagervik FK got a freekick which was hit by Alfons Wenerdahl. After 40 played minutes VSGM got a freekick which was hit by Björn Back. Inge Rudberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Börje Eliasson having to interfere. Gustav Hjortberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Georg Johansson having to interfere. Joseph Ekblom got his second yellow card in the match during the 44th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Joseph Ekblom kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. A collision led to Fagervik FK getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Aaron Hermansson hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Henric Wallengren made the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Arne Åström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the VSGM and the Fagervik FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Inge Rudberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Börje Eliasson having to interfere. Börje Eliasson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from August Kruse, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 60th minute of the match, Inge Rudberg got a very nice opportunity to score, but Börje Eliasson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. VSGM's Arne Åström got his second yellow card of the match in the 64th minute. The referee ordered Arne Åström off the ground. After 64 played minutes VSGM got a freekick which was hit by Arne Åström. Inge Rudberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Börje Eliasson made a huge save. Henric Wallengren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. VSGM's Börje Eliasson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save VSGM from getting a goal against them. Börje Eliasson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Inge Rudberg in the 80th minute. Aaron Hermansson's late challenge caught a VSGM's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aaron Hermansson helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Fagervik FK's Aaron Hermansson got a free kick in the 80th minute. A hard shot 88 in the game by Inge Rudberg from a close distance when the talented Börje Eliasson managed to make a qualified save. VSGM's players were relieved. Inge Rudberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
