The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to SLÄPPEN FK getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Sverker Hylander hit a great ball. In the 9th minute, Stefan Holmberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kasper Hägert took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Viktor Nordin. Viktor Nordin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivar Blanck in the 18th minute of play forced Good-ass Hoopti Ridah's goalkeeper Viktor Nordin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alvar Bank charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alvar Bank the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 20 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Good-ass Hoopti Ridah! Good-ass Hoopti Ridah:s Viktor Nordin showed great skill when he stopped Kjell Åkesson:s penalty. Kjell Åkesson did an outstanding performance 22 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 2-0 to the right of an irritated Viktor Nordin in the goal. Türkeş Bucuklu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eric Björling in the 28th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ivar Blanck got free with Viktor Nordin in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 33 minutes into the match, SLÄPPEN FK's goal looked a bit too open when Eric Björling came free, but Türkeş Bucuklu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivar Blanck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Viktor Nordin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 38 played minutes Good-ass Hoopti Ridah got a freekick which was hit by Stefan Holmberg. Kasper Hägert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the SLÄPPEN FK defense, Eric Björling kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Türkeş Bucuklu. The SLÄPPEN FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Türkeş Bucuklu should have stopped the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ivar Blanck stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. During the 59th minute of the match Alvar Bank completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Alvar Bank a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Good-ass Hoopti Ridah's Alvar Bank got a free kick in the 60th minute. A collision led to Good-ass Hoopti Ridah getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Stefan Holmberg hit a great ball. Richard Bern's late challenge caught a SLÄPPEN FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Richard Bern helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Good-ass Hoopti Ridah's Richard Bern got a free kick in the 65th minute. Bo-Erik Bergqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind SLÄPPEN FK's goalkeeper Türkeş Bucuklu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. John Olsson charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed John Olsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. John Olsson kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Good-ass Hoopti Ridah's zone, Ivar Blanck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Viktor Nordin came out of the goal and Ivar Blanck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Richard Bern was shown his second yellow card after 87 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. 91 minutes into the match, SLÄPPEN FK's Sverker Hylander sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Viktor Nordin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ivar Blanck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viktor Nordin having to interfere. If Ivar Blanck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. SLÄPPEN FK had played much better football throughout.
