In the 9th minute Rasmus Kullgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustav Bock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Saxnäs IF were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after Culiao BK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Torsten Österlund took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Torsten Österlund got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gustav Bock quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Mark Nilsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Wennerquist in the 14th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 16th minute by Torsten Österlund got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Gustav Bock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rasmus Kullgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustav Bock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vilhelm Caspersson in the 22nd minute of the match. Gustav Bock showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rasmus Kullgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After a rather tough play, Saxnäs IF's Algot Pihlgren got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 34th minute Rasmus Kullgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustav Bock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Culiao BK's Gustav Bock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boris Bark in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Rasmus Kullgren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Saxnäs IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stig-Åke Pålsson was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torsten Österlund in the 52nd minute of play forced Culiao BK's goalkeeper Gustav Bock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 56 played minutes Culiao BK got a freekick which was hit by Gert Lundblad. After 57 played minutes, Saxnäs IF's Torsten Österlund shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gustav Bock came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Saxnäs IF reached it. Gert Lundblad made in the 59th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Verner Jonasson immediately put the ball in play. Gustav Bock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rasmus Kullgren in the 63rd minute of the match. Mark Nilsson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Martin Wennerquist showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 68 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Nils-Emil Westerberg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mark Nilsson. That made the score 1-3 in the 75 minute of play. Martin Wennerquist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Mark Nilsson made a huge save. 79 minutes into the match, Saxnäs IF's goalkeeper Mark Nilsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nils-Emil Westerberg. Stig-Åke Pålsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mark Nilsson having to interfere. When Rasmus Kullgren came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Saxnäs IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rasmus Kullgren couldn't finish the play. Culiao BK's Nils-Emil Westerberg got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Culiao BK's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
