After having played for 9 minutes, Edgard Torres managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ideela Pirater's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgard Torres was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 12th minute, Anton Apelkvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Robin Hurtig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 17 played minutes Ideela Pirater got a freekick which was hit by Anton Apelkvist. Rachid Feller showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathias Stor in the 19th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgard Torres got free with Sven-Arne Hellström in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sven-Arne Hellström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anton Apelkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Tree Hill Celtics's Sven-Arne Hellström got control of the ball when Edgard Torres tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sven-Arne Hellström made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Edgard Torres sent off a good shot on target. Anton Apelkvist charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anton Apelkvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Edgard Torres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Sven-Arne Hellström made a huge save. A collision led to Tree Hill Celtics getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Malcolm Nyström hit a great ball. 47 minutes into the match, Anton Apelkvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sven-Arne Hellström. Tree Hill Celtics's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anton Apelkvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edgard Torres was the one to do the kick off. Robin Hurtig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rachid Feller having to interfere. When Sven Rönn fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ideela Pirater's protests and gave Sven Rönn a yellow card for diving instead. In the 60th minute, Sven Rönn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 62 minutes into the match, Edgard Torres notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Tree Hill Celtics's Sven-Arne Hellström. Sven-Arne Hellström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 65 played minutes Tree Hill Celtics got a freekick which was hit by Ture Lövkvist. When Anton Apelkvist came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Ideela Pirater fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anton Apelkvist couldn't finish the play. 73 minutes into the match, Edgard Torres had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sven-Arne Hellström. Tree Hill Celtics's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edgard Torres was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. If Edgard Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sven-Arne Hellström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edgard Torres went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. In the 81st minute, Jan-Åke Barck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Mathias Stor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anton Apelkvist in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sven-Arne Hellström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sven Rönn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Arne Hellström having to interfere. Edgard Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgard Torres struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Sven-Arne Hellström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ideela Pirater. The supporters of Ideela Pirater booed when Tree Hill Celtics was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathias Stor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tree Hill Celtics's Sven-Arne Hellström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Torres in the 98th minute of play. Ideela Pirater's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
