An unexpectedly hard shot by Dennis Hellqvist in the 6th minute of play forced Ideela Pirater's goalkeeper Rachid Feller to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute, Tor Aronsson made a precise shot to the right of Rachid Feller. Ideela Pirater's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a rather tough play, DanteLegend's Daniel Kielberg got a free kick in the 11th minute. Dennis Hellqvist's late challenge caught a Ideela Pirater's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dennis Hellqvist helped the player get up and apologised. In the 21st match minute, Ideela Pirater was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joakim Wennersten to maneuver through the defense. Ideela Pirater's Rachid Feller played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tor Aronsson in the 22nd minute of play. Vidar Mårtensson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joakim Wennersten to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mattias Strand in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. Ideela Pirater's defense didn't have a chance, in the 56th minute, when Dennis Hellqvist scored to the left of an out of position Rachid Feller, making the score, 1-2. In the 63rd minute Tor Aronsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rachid Feller saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joakim Wennersten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Vidar Mårtensson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Tor Aronsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Ideela Pirater booed when DanteLegend was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isak Jonsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The DanteLegend supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing DanteLegend would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
