Nontas Papaefstathiou made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guaberto Chano in the 28th minute. Nontas Papaefstathiou stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guaberto Chano's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. In the 33rd minute, Frans Berglund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guaberto Chano got free with Nontas Papaefstathiou in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Guaberto Chano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Edsberg's supporters rose to their feet, but Guaberto Chano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nontas Papaefstathiou breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Niels Zwinkels recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Guaberto Chano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nontas Papaefstathiou read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Nontas Papaefstathiou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niels Zwinkels, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Urban Bäck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nontas Papaefstathiou having to interfere. After 59 minutes, Vecdet Argün mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Edsberg and the Coffe FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee ignored Coffe FC's protests and gave Jörgen Andberg a yellow card for diving instead. In the 82nd minute Urban Bäck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nontas Papaefstathiou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonatan Fogel took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roman Sochacki. Roman Sochacki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. After a rather tough play, Edsberg's Urban Bäck got a free kick in the 88th minute. When Karl-Ove Bäck fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Coffe FC's protests and gave Karl-Ove Bäck a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 90th minute of the game. One of Coffe FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Edsberg:s goal. In the 92nd minute there was a penalty for Edsberg. Guaberto Chano stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Nontas Papaefstathiou. 5-1. 96 minutes into the match, Guaberto Chano notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Coffe FC's Nontas Papaefstathiou. Nontas Papaefstathiou was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Niels Zwinkels fell near the penalty area in the 99th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Edsberg's protests and gave Niels Zwinkels a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Edsberg getting a freekick after 99 minutes play. Niels Zwinkels hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Edsberg fans cheered their team off the field, for while Coffe FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
