After 5 played minutes, Gällstad's Peter Gunnarsson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Roman Sochacki came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gällstad reached it. Tony Alkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guaberto Chano in the 11th minute of play. Edsberg's Niels Zwinkels got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 19 minutes into the match, Guaberto Chano notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Gällstad's Tony Alkvist. Tony Alkvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Niels Zwinkels received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Tony Alkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tony Alkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urban Bäck in the 24th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guaberto Chano in the 28th minute of play forced Gällstad's goalkeeper Tony Alkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peter Gunnarsson hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 34thth minute of the game Guaberto Chano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gällstad's Tony Alkvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 39 minutes Edsberg's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Peter Gunnarsson who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Gällstad's Peter Gunnarsson to fire away a dangerous shot which Roman Sochacki despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Abadin Udaeta kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers August Göransson in the 49th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roman Sochacki saved Edsberg from getting behind. After the first half Edsberg were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and August Göransson made a kick off. Niels Zwinkels fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tony Alkvist having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 57th minute by Guaberto Chano got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 57th match minute, Gällstad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anders Malmberg to maneuver through the defense. If August Göransson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gällstad's defense didn't have a chance, in the 64th minute, when Urban Bäck scored to the left of an out of position Tony Alkvist, making the score, 0-2. Guaberto Chano in the 69thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tony Alkvist, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 70th minute, Guaberto Chano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Edsberg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 78th minute, Guaberto Chano reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tony Alkvist. The goal made the score 0-4. With a little luck, Gällstad's Tony Alkvist got control of the ball when Guaberto Chano tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Gällstad getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Rune Wallgren hit a great ball. The Gällstad fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Edsberg were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
