Spectators: 7518 (Terracing: 5678, Seating: 1740, VIP seats: 100) An unexpectedly hard shot by Urban Bäck in the 2nd minute of play forced Jox United's goalkeeper Tomas Mårtensson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Mårtensson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charles Lange in the 4th minute of the match. Kjell Falkrans lost his temper 5 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 6th minute, Kjell Falkrans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Mårtensson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urban Bäck in the 7th minute of play. A hard shot 12 in the game by Niels Zwinkels from a close distance when the talented Tomas Mårtensson managed to make a qualified save. Jox United's players were relieved. The crowd rose to their feet as Edsberg's Guaberto Chano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tomas Mårtensson. That made the score 1-0 after 13 minutes of play. Guaberto Chano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 19 played minutes Jox United got a freekick which was hit by Birger Västerstrand. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Edsberg's goalkeeper Roman Sochacki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Edsberg defense, Edgar Hökkvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roman Sochacki. The Edsberg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roman Sochacki should have stopped the shot. 29 minutes into the game, Guaberto Chano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Tomas Mårtensson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Edsberg's Roman Sochacki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Hökkvist in the 32nd minute of play. Edsberg's Niels Zwinkels got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 38th minute of the game, Urban Bäck landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. When Rasmus Linqvist fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jox United's protests and gave Rasmus Linqvist a yellow card for diving instead. In the 38th minute, Rasmus Linqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute, Edsberg's Niels Zwinkels dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. After 42 played minutes Edsberg got a freekick which was hit by Vecdet Argün. Edgar Hökkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Roman Sochacki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Guaberto Chano to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Guaberto Chano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Charles Lange fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Mårtensson having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Jox United's zone, Guaberto Chano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomas Mårtensson came out of the goal and Guaberto Chano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edsberg's Niels Zwinkels got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 61 minutes into the game, Edsberg's Charles Lange nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomas Mårtensson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. After 65 played minutes Edsberg got a freekick which was hit by Niels Zwinkels. In the 66th minute, Vecdet Argün hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Jox United's zone, Guaberto Chano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomas Mårtensson came out of the goal and Guaberto Chano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jox United's Tomas Mårtensson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niels Zwinkels in the 70th minute of play. Guaberto Chano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sten Finman hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. When Lennart Hök came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Jox United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lennart Hök couldn't finish the play. 80 minutes into the game, Edsberg's Guaberto Chano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomas Mårtensson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Edsberg walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
