Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5250, Seating: 1610, VIP seats: 140) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rutger Kock took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 11th minute Leif Rolandsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Douglas Landin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Leif Rolandsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leif Rolandsson in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Douglas Landin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Karl-Johan Nässén received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Douglas Landin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alf Majman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Olof Tunander, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Alf Majman came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Malmö's Joacim Wickander. But to his dismay, Joacim Wickander quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After having played for 25 minutes, Ulf Bjursell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Obbola's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulf Bjursell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Viggo Strand during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Real Malmö's Viggo Strand got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 28th match minute, Obbola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Bock to maneuver through the defense. Alf Majman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joacim Wickander in the 29th minute of play. Obbola's Alf Majman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Olof Tunander in the 32nd minute of play. If Karl-Johan Nässén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute of the match, Edmund Björklund tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Douglas Landin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Jonny Fagerberg hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. The supporters of Real Malmö booed when Obbola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmund Björklund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alf Majman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Olof Tunander in the 40th minute of play. Alf Majman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Olof Tunander, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Leif Rolandsson in the 52nd minute of play forced Real Malmö's goalkeeper Douglas Landin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmund Björklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Douglas Landin having to interfere. Douglas Landin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulf Bjursell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edmund Björklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 67th minute of the game. One of Obbola:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Real Malmö:s goal. After 71 played minutes Obbola got a freekick which was hit by Edmund Björklund. After a defensive mix-up in Real Malmö's zone, Ulf Bjursell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Douglas Landin came out of the goal and Ulf Bjursell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 76 minutes into the game, Karl-Johan Nässén cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Douglas Landin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Obbola's Karl-Johan Nässén got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Obbola's Alf Majman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rutger Kock in the 81st minute of play. Ulf Bjursell blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Douglas Landin having to make a save. If Edmund Björklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Douglas Landin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Johan Nässén, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Karl-Johan Nässén struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Douglas Landin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Obbola. Edmund Björklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ulf Bjursell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the match, Obbola's goalkeeper Alf Majman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joacim Wickander. After a rather tough play, Real Malmö's Bo-Erik Julin got a free kick in the 98th minute. Obbola were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Real Malmö to leave the ground with a draw.
