Spectators: 6629 (Terracing: 4750, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 150) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Evert Felin made the kick off which started today's match. After a defensive mix-up in Hera FC's zone, Evert Felin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ingvar Johansson came out of the goal and Evert Felin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 6 minutes, William Hellbom managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hera FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but William Hellbom was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Hera FC's Ingvar Johansson got control of the ball when Evert Felin tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Hellbom in the 11th minute of play forced Lyckeby's goalkeeper Svante Lindholm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Karl-Oskar Lundin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Svante Lindholm. Lyckeby's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karl-Oskar Lundin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 18th minute, William Hellbom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Algot Gunnarsson struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Ingvar Johansson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lyckeby. Ingvar Johansson made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Elof Hake sent off a good shot on target. Ingvar Johansson was a little too slow when Evert Felin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 1-1. Svante Lindholm didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Per-Erik Brandt went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 36 minutes into the match, Lyckeby's goal looked a bit too open when André Eklund came free, but Svante Lindholm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Svante Lindholm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from William Hellbom, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Oskar Lundin in the 42nd minute of play forced Lyckeby's goalkeeper Svante Lindholm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Svante Lindholm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Hellbom in the 44th minute of the match. Svante Lindholm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Eklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Svante Lindholm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from William Hellbom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Hera FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when André Eklund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With 52 minutes on the clock, Tom Lindman commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The goalkeeper, Svante Lindholm, was totally fooled by Hera FC's Sven-Ove Cane, who 54 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 64th minute, Baran Alp Durak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Svante Lindholm came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Hera FC's Karl-Oskar Lundin. But to his dismay, Karl-Oskar Lundin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. 71 minutes into the match, Lyckeby's goal looked a bit too open when Per-Erik Brandt came free, but Svante Lindholm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Eklund in the 78th minute of play forced Lyckeby's goalkeeper Svante Lindholm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Lyckeby's goalkeeper Svante Lindholm had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karl-Oskar Lundin. Torgny Sävström's late challenge caught a Hera FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Torgny Sävström helped the player get up and apologised. Lyckeby's Svante Lindholm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Eklund in the 84th minute of play. Lyckeby's Svante Lindholm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Lyckeby from getting a goal against them. 86 minutes into the game, Hera FC's Karl-Oskar Lundin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Svante Lindholm made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. Elof Hake fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingvar Johansson having to interfere. William Hellbom could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Svante Lindholm made a huge save. Svante Lindholm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Eklund in the 97th minute of play. Lyckeby's Svante Lindholm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to save Lyckeby from getting a goal against them. The Hera FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Hera FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
