The supporters of Maltesholms FF booed when Lyckeby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tommy Ekrot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lyckeby's Svante Lindholm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Lyckeby from getting a goal against them. Carl Norberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evert Felin, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Lyckeby's goalkeeper Svante Lindholm had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aaron Brask. In the 23rd minute Peter Tunberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Svante Lindholm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute Georg Ståhlberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carl Norberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Lyckeby getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Olof Löv hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Viktor Tinglöf got free with Svante Lindholm in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 31st minute Oliver Skytt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carl Norberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Maltesholms FF getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Kurt Vennerkvist hit a great ball. Maltesholms FF's Carl Norberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evert Felin in the 35th minute of play. Carl Norberg came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Lyckeby's Torgny Sävström. But to his dismay, Torgny Sävström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 39 minutes into the match, Elof Hake notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Maltesholms FF's Carl Norberg. Carl Norberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Evert Felin took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carl Norberg. Carl Norberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Evert Felin to make the kick off. Carl Norberg came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Lyckeby's Georg Ståhlberg. But to his dismay, Georg Ståhlberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. 54 minutes into the match, Maltesholms FF's goalkeeper Carl Norberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elof Hake. The crowd rose to their feet as Evert Felin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Carl Norberg. That made the score 1-6 in the 55 minute of play. Maltesholms FF's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Elof Hake 59 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-7. Carl Norberg made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Georg Ståhlberg sent off a good shot on target. Carl Norberg came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Lyckeby's Elof Hake. But to his dismay, Elof Hake quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-8. Carl Norberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elof Hake in the 68th minute. In the 72nd minute Tommy Ekrot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carl Norberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Svante Lindholm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Tunberg in the 74th minute of play. Carl Norberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elof Hake in the 76th minute. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Elof Hake took a quick shot and it went in 1-9 without a chance for Carl Norberg to make any attempt to save it. Elof Hake fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carl Norberg having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, Elof Hake had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carl Norberg. Maltesholms FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elof Hake was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-10. Carl Norberg came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Lyckeby's Elof Hake. But to his dismay, Elof Hake quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-11. 93 minutes into the game, Evert Felin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Carl Norberg. Evert Felin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-13. When the match was over Lyckeby could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Maltesholms FF throughout the match.
