Lyckeby's Nils-Åke Bergsten quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Lyckeby's Svante Lindholm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Lyckeby from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Lyckeby getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Torgny Sävström hit a great ball. Svante Lindholm was out of position in the 11 minute of play, and Arman Mellin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Arman Mellin really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The ball had pretty good speed, but Svante Lindholm firmly grabbed it by the left post. 19 minutes into the match, Lyckeby's goal looked a bit too open when Arman Mellin came free, but Svante Lindholm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Svante Lindholm was a little too slow when Jens-Åke Skytt got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 2-0. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Evert Felin sped through Zlax FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Albert Örtendal. 36 minutes into the match, Lyckeby's goalkeeper Svante Lindholm had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jörn Sandell. 37 minutes into the match, Arman Mellin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Svante Lindholm, 4-1. Svante Lindholm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt-Arne Jönsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Albert Örtendal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elof Hake, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

After some careless play in the Lyckeby defense, Arman Mellin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Svante Lindholm. The Lyckeby fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Svante Lindholm should have stopped the shot. Svante Lindholm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jörn Sandell in the 57th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Evert Felin in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Albert Örtendal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Elof Hake's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Albert Örtendal firmly grabbed it by the left post. Jörn Sandell struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Svante Lindholm didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zlax FC. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Evert Felin put it in 5-2 from a short distance just to the right of Albert Örtendal. A collision led to Zlax FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Jörn Sandell hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arman Mellin in the 75th minute of play forced Lyckeby's goalkeeper Svante Lindholm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jörn Sandell's late challenge caught a Lyckeby's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jörn Sandell helped the player get up and apologised. Baran Alp Durak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 80 played minutes Zlax FC got a freekick which was hit by Bengt-Arne Jönsson. In the 83rd minute, Jörn Sandell ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Svante Lindholm was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-2. After having played for 86 minutes, Evert Felin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lyckeby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evert Felin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 87th play minutes Elof Hake shot 6-3, a short shot which went by Albert Örtendal and just under the crossbar into goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elof Hake got free with Albert Örtendal in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lyckeby's Svante Lindholm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt-Arne Jönsson in the 96th minute of play. Svante Lindholm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens-Åke Skytt in the 97th minute of the match. Zlax FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Lyckeby for a fine match.
