The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Åke Björkdahl during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Dala-Husby getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Åke Björkdahl hit a great ball. In the 5th minute, Albin Alströmmer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emil Bruhn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arne Hurtig in the 7th minute of play. Alex Palmington succeeded in the game's 23rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. A collision led to Insjön IK getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Leif Arhenius hit a great ball. In the 28th match minute, Dala-Husby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Palmington to maneuver through the defense. Insjön IK's Christian Drewitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt-Åke Wennerlund in the 32nd minute of play. Emil Bruhn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cornel Suşu, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Insjön IK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Arne Hurtig in the 40th minute. A nice corner shot did that Arne Hurtig got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Emil Bruhn quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Alex Palmington fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Drewitz having to interfere. Cornel Suşu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Bruhn having to interfere.

In the 61st minute, Arne Hurtig got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Dala-Husby booed when Insjön IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leif Arhenius didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute Alex Palmington shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Drewitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th match minute, Dala-Husby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johnny Hermansson to maneuver through the defense. John Ersman replaced Örjan Vennersten. After a rather tough play, Dala-Husby's Johnny Hermansson got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 93rd minute, Robin Fransson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Dala-Husby players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
