After 31 played minutes BK Tikibaren got a freekick which was hit by Ralf Hylander. An unexpectedly hard shot by Trent Jacob in the 33rd minute of play forced BK Tikibaren's goalkeeper Alfredo Colella to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ruperto Jordy in the 40thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lukas Bengtsson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Alfredo Colella showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claes Sundling, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Thor Olofsson kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Alfredo Colella showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trent Jacob in the 60th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, BK Tikibaren's Kent Sundström got a free kick in the 61st minute. Alfredo Colella took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt-Arne Stor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Torsten Sjögren charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Torsten Sjögren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Torsten Sjögren hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Börje Lundqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lukas Bengtsson came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by BK Tikibaren's Ruperto Jordy. But to his dismay, Ruperto Jordy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After 88 played minutes BK Tikibaren got a freekick which was hit by Per Sundberg. Torbjörn Lundberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Athlétic FC booed when BK Tikibaren was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kent Sundström didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. BK Tikibaren had won after a very even match.
