Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mikael Forsberg kicked off to start the match. Zebastian Carlsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stig-Ove Hjortberg in the 3rd minute. After 4 minutes IFK Sponsor's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Johannes Lundblad who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Edvard Beckeman heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Mikael Forsberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zebastian Carlsson having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Mikael Forsberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zebastian Carlsson was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Birger Wallman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vilhelm Vase having to make a save. Vilhelm Vase took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edwin Pil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zebastian Carlsson stood somewhat misplaced when Johannes Lundblad came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 12 minute. When Edvard Beckeman came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Portalens FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edvard Beckeman couldn't finish the play. In the 16th minute Stig-Ove Hjortberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zebastian Carlsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Portalens FK's Mikael Forsberg in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye IFK Sponsor's goalie prevented a goal. Vilhelm Vase didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Svante Lindmark went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Johannes Lundblad who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Zebastian Carlsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 23rd play minutes Johannes Lundblad shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Zebastian Carlsson and just under the crossbar into goal. After 28 played minutes Portalens FK got a freekick which was hit by Stig-Ove Hjortberg. Vilhelm Vase showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Svante Lindmark in the 31st minute of the match. Johannes Lundblad in the 33rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Zebastian Carlsson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 35th minute, Johannes Lundblad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Svante Lindmark received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Vilhelm Vase tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mikael Forsberg's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 40thth minute, Zebastian Carlsson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Johannes Lundblad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zebastian Carlsson having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, IFK Sponsor's goal looked a bit too open when Stig-Ove Hjortberg came free, but Zebastian Carlsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, Stig-Ove Hjortberg lined in a short shot 3-1 behind a frustrated Zebastian Carlsson. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adrian Bäck stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Portalens FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johannes Lundblad to maneuver through the defense. After 55 played minutes Portalens FK got a freekick which was hit by Edvard Beckeman. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edvard Beckeman in the 60th minute of play forced IFK Sponsor's goalkeeper Zebastian Carlsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. At last the ball reached Edvard Beckeman at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of IFK Sponsor. 4-1. Edvard Beckeman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zebastian Carlsson having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Johannes Lundblad in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zebastian Carlsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 70th minute, Stig-Ove Hjortberg made a precise shot to the right of Zebastian Carlsson. IFK Sponsor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. In the 74thth minute of the game Mikael Forsberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but IFK Sponsor's Zebastian Carlsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zebastian Carlsson came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Portalens FK's Stig-Ove Hjortberg. But to his dismay, Stig-Ove Hjortberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. The Portalens FK fans' excitement grew in the 78th match minute when Portalens FK's Mikael Forsberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Mikael Forsberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Portalens FK's Mikael Forsberg got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. IFK Sponsor's Zebastian Carlsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig-Ove Hjortberg in the 84th minute of play. If Mikael Forsberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stig-Ove Hjortberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zebastian Carlsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig-Ove Hjortberg in the 90th minute of play. Fredric Engström took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vilhelm Vase. Portalens FK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 95 minutes, Lars Bennet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Portalens FK and the IFK Sponsor players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of IFK Sponsor booed when Portalens FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars Bennet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vilhelm Vase acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 96th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Fredric Engström. There was no doubt that Portalens FK were the better team. Portalens FK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
