The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute, Adrian Bäck fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Carl Ahlberg, passed just outside the right post. In the 28th minute, IFK Sponsor's Adrian Bäck ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Carl Ahlberg. Carl Ahlberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Svante Lindmark got free with Carl Ahlberg in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Adrian Bäck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Nora FF booed when IFK Sponsor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edwin Pil didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddie Helberg in the 37th minute of play forced IFK Sponsor's goalkeeper Zebastian Carlsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vilgot Lilja might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zebastian Carlsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vilgot Lilja ran back to his position shaking his head. When Kurt Åhlberg came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Nora FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kurt Åhlberg couldn't finish the play. Carl Ahlberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Bäck, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

51 minutes into the match, Adrian Bäck notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Nora FF's Carl Ahlberg. Carl Ahlberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 61stth minute of the game Torbjörn Käller who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but IFK Sponsor's Zebastian Carlsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Adrian Bäck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute, Christoffer Ahlquist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Svante Lindmark hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute, Svante Lindmark left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The IFK Sponsor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Adrian Bäck managed to get in a good position for a shot. IFK Sponsor's supporters rose to their feet, but Adrian Bäck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carl Ahlberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Svante Lindmark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carl Ahlberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Bäck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carl Ahlberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Svante Lindmark in the 92nd minute of play. After 94 played minutes IFK Sponsor got a freekick which was hit by Max Johnsson. Nora FF's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because IFK Sponsor had won, even though Nora FF had held more of the ball.
