Spectators: 7550 (Terracing: 5664, Seating: 1736, VIP seats: 150) Nusnäs IK's Martial Ducreux started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd play minute Martial Ducreux came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Lars Jonsson. 1-0. Agne Lundin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Einar Lundin, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Hannes Jönsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Lars Jonsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th match minute, Nusnäs IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alf Brodin to maneuver through the defense. Staffan Törnblom struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Agne Lundin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Glenbuck Cherrypickers. If Douglas Sundberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Glenbuck Cherrypickers's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Ion Patrichi scored to the left of an out of position Lars Jonsson, making the score, 4-0. Ion Patrichi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars Jonsson having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Nusnäs IK's Kennet Molin got a free kick in the 35th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martial Ducreux got free with Lars Jonsson in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nusnäs IK's Agne Lundin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per Hedlund in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute, Martial Ducreux got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Einar Lundin hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Lars Jonsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martial Ducreux's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Martial Ducreux fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars Jonsson having to interfere. Kennet Molin charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kennet Molin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 62nd minute, Kennet Molin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Nusnäs IK's Kennet Molin got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Lars Jonsson came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Nusnäs IK's Ion Patrichi. But to his dismay, Ion Patrichi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Martial Ducreux scored 7-0 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lars Jonsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martial Ducreux in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lars Jonsson saved Glenbuck Cherrypickers from getting behind. Lars Jonsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martial Ducreux, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute, Douglas Sundberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martial Ducreux struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Lars Jonsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nusnäs IK. Nusnäs IK made a substitution. Ove Browald replaced Alf Brodin. After a rather tough play, Glenbuck Cherrypickers's Sven-Arne Axelsson got a free kick in the 88th minute. Martial Ducreux succeeded in the game's 90th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 8-0. Lars Jonsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martial Ducreux, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Nusnäs IK were the better team. Nusnäs IK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
