The referee showed Erling Stål the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 27 played minutes Vegas Grappar got a freekick which was hit by Erling Stål. The audience was convinced that Vilhelm Kaxe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sven-Olof Gustafsson was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. In the 35th minute, Josef Blomqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Skepplanda BTK booed when Vegas Grappar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfred Stabbe didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vilgot Lidberg to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Aron Svartengren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Atilano Loiola was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 61 minutes into the game, Skepplanda BTK's Vilgot Lidberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Atilano Loiola made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Atilano Loiola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vilgot Lidberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aron Svartengren in the 68th minute of play forced Vegas Grappar's goalkeeper Atilano Loiola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aron Svartengren's late challenge caught a Vegas Grappar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aron Svartengren helped the player get up and apologised. In the 73rd match minute, Skepplanda BTK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aron Svartengren to maneuver through the defense. 76 minutes into the game, Josef Blomqvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Skepplanda BTK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vegas Grappar the free kick. In the 76th minute, Josef Blomqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute, Vilgot Lidberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Atilano Loiola was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. After 84 played minutes Vegas Grappar got a freekick which was hit by Erling Stål. Vegas Grappar's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
