Skepplanda BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rutger Västerstrand was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Ted Benett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Sigfridsson in the 11th minute of play. Magne Holmstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ted Benett having to interfere. Ted Benett made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Allan Björling sent off a good shot on target. Ted Benett made an important save on a dangerous shot by Allan Björling in the 19th minute. Daniel Sigfridsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ted Benett having to interfere. The supporters of Skepplanda BK booed when Järna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andreas Lindsten didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Sigfridsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Järna booed when Skepplanda BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conny Vennerlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Allan Björling received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Ted Benett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Sigfridsson got free with Ted Benett in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

After 54 minutes of play, Skepplanda BK's Daniel Sigfridsson made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ted Benett was left in no man's land by his defense there! Allan Björling recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Allan Björling struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Ted Benett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skepplanda BK. Måns Albom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ted Benett having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Allan Björling's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ted Benett was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. A collision led to Järna getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Rutger Västerstrand hit a great ball. Ted Benett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Sigfridsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Andreas Lindsten in the 78th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Skepplanda BK's Mats Billberg. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Sigfridsson in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ted Benett saved Järna from getting behind. 84 minutes into the game, Skepplanda BK's Allan Björling nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ted Benett made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. Daniel Sigfridsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sonny Jakobsson kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Ted Benett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Allan Björling in the 92nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charles Sundberg in the 93rd minute of play forced Järna's goalkeeper Ted Benett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Allan Björling came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Skepplanda BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Allan Björling couldn't finish the play. 96 minutes into the game, Daniel Sigfridsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-1. Ted Benett was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Skepplanda BK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
