Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Östra Spång BK's Emanuel Mossberg started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute, Emanuel Mossberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Östra Spång BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a rather tough play, Unicornen's Bengt Lundberg got a free kick in the 11th minute. Ingvar Matsson scored 2-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sten Söderquist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 18 minutes into the match, Östra Spång BK's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt Lundberg came free, but Sten Söderquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Linus Söderlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Andreas Österlund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Mossberg in the 21st minute of play forced Unicornen's goalkeeper Andreas Österlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ingvar Matsson fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Unicornen's protests and gave Ingvar Matsson a yellow card for diving instead. Ingvar Matsson kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olle Stensson in the 30th minute of play forced Unicornen's goalkeeper Andreas Österlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute, Olle Stensson made a precise shot to the right of Andreas Österlund. Unicornen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. 36 minutes into the match, Ingvar Matsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sten Söderquist. Östra Spång BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ingvar Matsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Sten Söderquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimmy Kilström, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Jimmy Kilström took a quick shot and it went in 4-2 without a chance for Sten Söderquist to make any attempt to save it. In the 43rd minute Jimmy Kilström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sten Söderquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 46 played minutes Unicornen got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Oskar Ahlquist.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jimmy Kilström to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Unicornen's zone, Emanuel Mossberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andreas Österlund came out of the goal and Emanuel Mossberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 53rd minute, Jimmy Kilström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Andreas Österlund managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Östra Spång BK's Olle Stensson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Unicornen's Jonas Forss got a free kick in the 56th minute. Östra Spång BK's Emanuel Mossberg couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 57th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Unicornen. Sten Söderquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimmy Kilström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emanuel Mossberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andreas Österlund having to interfere. Jimmy Kilström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Emanuel Mossberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th match minute, Unicornen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingvar Matsson to maneuver through the defense. Sten Söderquist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ingvar Matsson's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Olle Stenssons short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Andreas Österlund to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Östra Spång BK's Linus Söderlund in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Unicornen's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olle Stensson in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andreas Österlund saved Unicornen from getting behind. In the 77th minute Ingvar Matsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sten Söderquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Olle Stensson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Andreas Österlund. That made the score 4-3 in the 80 minute of play. Andreas Österlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Mossberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 86th minute of the match Torbjörn Pettersson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sten Söderquist skillfully saved the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Unicornen's goalkeeper Andreas Österlund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joakim Jönsson. Joakim Jönsson's late challenge caught a Unicornen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joakim Jönsson helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Unicornen booed when Östra Spång BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joakim Jönsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
