Ivar Säv made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Linus Söderlund sent off a good shot on target. If Olle Stensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Emanuel Mossberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Ivar Säv tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Nittorp's zone, Emanuel Mossberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivar Säv came out of the goal and Emanuel Mossberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orvar Jonsson in the 21st minute of play forced Östra Spång BK's goalkeeper Sten Söderquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Östra Spång BK's Sten Söderquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dag Kuse in the 24th minute of play. Sten Söderquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pål Ekeroth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Östra Spång BK fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Östra Spång BK's Olle Stensson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Nittorp's Ivar Säv proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Nittorp from getting a goal against them. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Nittorp's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Emanuel Mossberg was slow to take the kick. During this time Östra Spång BK's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Emanuel Mossberg got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ivar Säv quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olle Stensson got free with Ivar Säv in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gunnar Vidman charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gunnar Vidman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Östra Spång BK booed when Nittorp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gunnar Vidman didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 44th minute, when Östra Spång BK's Linus Söderlund after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Ivar Säv in Nittorp's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. Greger Mårtensson hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

The crowd rose to their feet as Richard Malmgren kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sten Söderquist. That made the score 1-1 in the 53 minute of play. If Emanuel Mossberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Linus Söderlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sten Söderquist made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Pål Ekeroth sent off a good shot on target. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 61st minute of the game. One of Östra Spång BK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Nittorp:s goal. After having played for 66 minutes, Olle Stensson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Östra Spång BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olle Stensson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sten Söderquist had great luck who in the 69thth minute grab hold of the ball when Orvar Jonsson from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Linus Söderlund scored 2-2 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ivar Säv, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ivar Säv showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Linus Söderlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After some careless play in the Östra Spång BK defense, Pål Ekeroth kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sten Söderquist. The Östra Spång BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sten Söderquist should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Nittorp booed when Östra Spång BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edward Magnusson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Östra Spång BK's Sten Söderquist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Östra Spång BK from getting a goal against them. The Nittorp players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Östra Spång BK from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
