Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Orvar Jonsson started the match with the kick off. Anton Lindqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ivar Säv showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olle Lundqvist in the 13th minute of the match. Greger Mårtensson's late challenge caught a Blue Devils FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Greger Mårtensson helped the player get up and apologised. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pål Ekeroth got free with Martin Jelm in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Olle Lundqvist charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Olle Lundqvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 20 played minutes Blue Devils FC got a freekick which was hit by Olle Lundqvist. 24 minutes into the match, Orvar Jonsson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Martin Jelm, 1-0. Folke Örtendal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivar Säv having to interfere. Kristian Moberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Martin Jelm. Blue Devils FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Pål Ekeroth took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Martin Jelm. Martin Jelm dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Pål Ekeroth might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Martin Jelm. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pål Ekeroth ran back to his position shaking his head.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Folke Örtendal to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Blue Devils FC's Olle Lundqvist got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Martin Jelm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pål Ekeroth in the 55th minute of play. After having played for 56 minutes, Orvar Jonsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nittorp's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orvar Jonsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Orvar Jonsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Jelm having to interfere. Dag Kuse hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Nils-Åke Åkesson from long distance, 62 minutes into the match, got Ivar Säv's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 63rd minute, Richard Malmgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Folke Örtendal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Urban Tidéksson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Ivar Säv made a huge save. When Folke Örtendal came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Blue Devils FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Folke Örtendal couldn't finish the play. Ivar Säv made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Urban Tidéksson sent off a good shot on target. In the 80th minute, one of Nittorp:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Nittorp. Folke Örtendal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivar Säv having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Kåre Ljungberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pål Ekeroth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Jelm having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Nittorp fans cheered their team off the field, for while Blue Devils FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
