Sten Söderquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joar Valrot, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 29 minutes into the game, one of Östra Spång BK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 34 minutes into the game, Huaröd's Joar Valrot nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sten Söderquist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Thor Smitt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stefan Strömbom to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Joar Valrot kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sten Söderquist. That made the score 0-8 in the 59 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Huaröd's Algot Brandin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sten Söderquist. That made the score 0-9 after 62 minutes of play. In the 65th minute, Sture Brogren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Huaröd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-10. 67 minutes into the game, Joar Valrot cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-11. Sten Söderquist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Östra Spång BK getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. John Walmarsson hit a great ball. Huaröd's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After having played for 96 minutes, Linus Söderlund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Östra Spång BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Linus Söderlund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Huaröd's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
