But to his dismay, Mats Springfält quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After having played for 18 minutes, Herbert Gabrielsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guttes Pojkar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Herbert Gabrielsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kalle Sellberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexander Sellberg in the 21st minute of the match. A collision led to Crying Heart getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Andy Lundhberg hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Deckberg in the 31st minute of play forced Crying Heart's goalkeeper Kalle Sellberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thomas Hamnberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Harvey Deaconsfield tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Crying Heart's Villiam Alebom got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Sven-Erik Biörkquist's late challenge caught a Crying Heart's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Crying Heart's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Herbert Gabrielsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. If Villiam Alebom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Guttes Pojkar were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Thomas Hamnberg was the one to do the kick off. Einar Petersson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Kalle Sellberg firmly grabbed it by the left post. Richard Deckberg came free with the goalkeeper in the 53rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Kalle Sellberg could save by the left post. Kalle Sellberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexander Sellberg in the 54th minute of the match. Kalle Sellberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Sellberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Crying Heart's Kalle Sellberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herbert Gabrielsson in the 59th minute of play. Crying Heart's Thomas Hamnberg got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Crying Heart's Kalle Sellberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Crying Heart from getting a goal against them. When Thomas Hamnberg came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Crying Heart fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thomas Hamnberg couldn't finish the play. Einar Petersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kalle Sellberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Einar Petersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute.
