The supporters of Gröstorp IF booed when Hyssna BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfons Klemensson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th match minute, Hyssna BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bror Söderström to maneuver through the defense. Leo Wennerberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jon Eliasson having to interfere. Gröstorp IF's Jon Eliasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johannes Trillkott in the 26th minute of play. Jon Eliasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Wennerberg in the 27th minute of play. After 34 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gröstorp IF! Håkan Grelsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Henry Hernström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Håkan Grelsson ran back to his position shaking his head. Gröstorp IF's Jon Eliasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Wennerberg in the 41st minute of play. Jon Eliasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfons Klemensson in the 42nd minute of the match. If Patrik Lindberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Hyssna BK's Christer Bållström got a free kick in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Leo Wennerberg made the kick off in the second half. Jon Eliasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herbert Bocklund in the 52nd minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 54 minutes, Jon Eliasson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gröstorp IF's Jon Eliasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Wennerberg in the 57th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Johannes Trillkott got free with Jon Eliasson in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Håkan Grelsson struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Henry Hernström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gröstorp IF. Jon Eliasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Wennerberg in the 67th minute of play. Henry Hernström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Håkan Grelsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Henry Hernström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrik Lindberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute Christer Bållström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jon Eliasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jon Eliasson made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Johannes Trillkott sent off a good shot on target. Gröstorp IF's Patrik Lindberg got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Patrik Lindberg came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Gröstorp IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patrik Lindberg couldn't finish the play. 93 minutes into the game, Gröstorp IF's Patrik Lindberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Henry Hernström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. When the referee blew the final whistle, Gröstorp IF could leave the field as winners, despite Hyssna BK having more of the ball for most of the match.
