In the 4th minute, Alexander Sellberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Guttes Pojkar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 8 minutes into the game, Guttes Pojkar's Richard Deckberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Axel Sigfridsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. If Freddie Finnman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eric Pihlberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Harvey Deaconsfield tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Axel Sigfridsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Herbert Gabrielsson went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 29th minute Alexander Sellberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Axel Sigfridsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guttes Pojkar's Harvey Deaconsfield played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Pihlberg in the 34th minute of play. Eric Pihlberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harvey Deaconsfield having to interfere. After the first half Guttes Pojkar were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alexander Sellberg made a kick off. Guttes Pojkar's Harvey Deaconsfield played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Pihlberg in the 53rd minute of play. Freddie Finnman hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. A collision led to Guttes Pojkar getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Richard Deckberg hit a great ball. Alexander Sellberg kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Freddie Finnman charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Freddie Finnman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Epecon IF's Axel Sigfridsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexander Sellberg in the 65th minute of play. Harvey Deaconsfield took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eric Pihlberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Eric Pihlberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Harvey Deaconsfield was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Axel Sigfridsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Einar Petersson in the 72nd minute of play. With a little luck, Epecon IF's Axel Sigfridsson got control of the ball when Bo Bergdal tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Eric Pihlberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Epecon IF's Axel Sigfridsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Epecon IF from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddie Finnman in the 86th minute of play forced Guttes Pojkar's goalkeeper Harvey Deaconsfield to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Freddie Finnman got his second yellow card in the match during the 88th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Freddie Finnman kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 90th minute of the match Einar Petersson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Axel Sigfridsson skillfully saved the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bo Bergdal got free with Axel Sigfridsson in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Guttes Pojkar's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
