The audience thought a goal was coming when Martin Lagerberg got free with Erland Nydal in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nordingrå BK's Erland Nydal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Nordingrå BK from getting a goal against them. The Nordingrå BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erland Nydal should have stopped the shot. Thor Heggert who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Erland Nydal when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 34 minutes into the match, Nordingrå BK's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Vester came free, but Erland Nydal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Tommy Svensson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gustav Fernström. Shawshank Prisoners FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tommy Svensson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After 39 played minutes Shawshank Prisoners FC got a freekick which was hit by Rudolf Rosen. Axel Britz kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Erland Nydal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martin Lagerberg went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Erland Nydal was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Simon Vester capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Simon Vester really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The wind increased when Tommy Svensson made the kick off in the second half. Nordingrå BK's Erland Nydal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudolf Rosen in the 54th minute of play. 57 minutes into the game, Simon Vester cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Erland Nydal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Erland Nydal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Vester, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the match, Nordingrå BK's goal looked a bit too open when Thor Heggert came free, but Erland Nydal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Nordingrå BK's Tommy Svensson got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Erland Nydal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Vester, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Erland Nydal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Lagerberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rudolf Rosen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erland Nydal having to make a save. Erland Nydal came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Shawshank Prisoners FC's Martin Lagerberg. But to his dismay, Martin Lagerberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Tommy Svensson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustav Fernström having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Simon Vester ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erland Nydal was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. Thor Heggert took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erland Nydal. Erland Nydal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-1. In the 95th minute Martin Lagerberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erland Nydal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thor Heggert in the 97th minute of play forced Nordingrå BK's goalkeeper Erland Nydal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Shawshank Prisoners FC were the better team. Shawshank Prisoners FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
