After 11 played minutes Köppa BK got a freekick which was hit by Per Granström. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stig-Ove Hasselqvist during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 13th match minute, Brandholmen BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig-Ove Hasselqvist to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Köppa BK's Torgny Söderberg got a free kick in the 18th minute. After 19 played minutes, Brandholmen BK's Thomas Termander shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ted Öman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Brandholmen BK reached it. 21 minutes into the game, Köppa BK's Alfie Solomons nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Timmy Bruhn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Per Granström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the match, Bertil Lindgren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ted Öman. Köppa BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bertil Lindgren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Alfie Solomons took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Timmy Bruhn. Timmy Bruhn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3.

Stig-Ove Hasselqvist was shown his second yellow card after 53 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 54th minute, Stig-Ove Hasselqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfie Solomons let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 55th minute shot 1-4 at rihgt post. When Mattias Uggla fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brandholmen BK's protests and gave Mattias Uggla a yellow card for diving instead. In the 61st minute, Mattias Uggla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 63 minutes of play Brandholmen BK's Mattias Uggla was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Mattias Uggla hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Timmy Bruhn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Torgny Söderberg in the 67th minute. Ted Öman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andréas Löfskog in the 78th minute of the match. Brandholmen BK's Timmy Bruhn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Brandholmen BK from getting a goal against them. In the 87th minute Alfie Solomons shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timmy Bruhn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Alfie Solomons managed to get in a good position for a shot. Köppa BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfie Solomons was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Timmy Bruhn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Brandholmen BK's Krister Palmquist got a free kick in the 89th minute. After 95 minutes, Elliott Sikström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brandholmen BK and the Köppa BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 95th match minute, Brandholmen BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elliott Sikström to maneuver through the defense. Köppa BK's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
