Elva Edsvurna Män BK's Jack Gernberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Elva Edsvurna Män BK from getting a goal against them. Erland Nydal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustav Bergman in the 22nd minute of play. Nordingrå BK's Erland Nydal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustav Bergman in the 28th minute of play. Tommy Svensson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jack Gernberg having to make a save. Jack Gernberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tommy Svensson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Nordingrå BK's Sten Hylander got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 33rd match minute, Elva Edsvurna Män BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ove Sjöö to maneuver through the defense. After 36 minutes Elva Edsvurna Män BK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Brian Henriksson who took care of the corner kick. Nordingrå BK's Brian Henriksson was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jack Gernberg in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Gustav Bergman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gustav Bergman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erland Nydal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. The supporters of Nordingrå BK booed when Elva Edsvurna Män BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hans Petersson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tommy Svensson to make the kick off. Jack Gernberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tommy Svensson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 60 played minutes Nordingrå BK got a freekick which was hit by Brian Henriksson. In the 64th minute Ove Sjöö shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erland Nydal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ove Sjöö came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Elva Edsvurna Män BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ove Sjöö couldn't finish the play. Elva Edsvurna Män BK's Sven-Edvin Flink managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alex Bock in the 95 minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Gustav Bergman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elva Edsvurna Män BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustav Bergman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erland Nydal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Nordingrå BK support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
