In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Norrmalms IF's goalkeeper Stig-Åke Majman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Robert Fernkvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stig-Åke Majman was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. When Anders Lindgren came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Norrmalms IF fans jumped to their feet. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roman Gniewek in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stig-Åke Majman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 43rd match minute, El Duderinos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melker Vennersten to maneuver through the defense. Norrmalms IF's Stig-Åke Majman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melker Vennersten in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Robert Fernkvist to make the kick off. Robert Fernkvist's late challenge caught a Norrmalms IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robert Fernkvist helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to El Duderinos getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Robert Fernkvist hit a great ball. Aykutalp Ayman hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After having played for 63 minutes, Joakim Bennet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Petter Vallmark kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Joakim Bennet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stig-Åke Majman made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Robert Fernkvist sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to El Duderinos getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Melker Vennersten hit a great ball. Stig-Åke Majman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robert Fernkvist's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. With a little luck, Norrmalms IF's Stig-Åke Majman got control of the ball when Roman Gniewek tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Hellström in the 78th minute of play forced El Duderinos's goalkeeper Dennis Orioli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stig-Åke Majman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Fernkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robert Fernkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig-Åke Majman having to interfere. With a little luck, Norrmalms IF's Stig-Åke Majman got control of the ball when Roman Gniewek tried to sneak it across the goal line. Karl-Michael Dahlberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Stig-Åke Majman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Fernkvist in the 91st minute of the match. Chants of El Duderinos echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Norrmalms IF had held the ball for most of the match.
