The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Andréas Tolsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Höjdens FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 15 minutes into the match, Skurups AIF's goal looked a bit too open when Hjalmar Vedholm came free, but Sverker Martinsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hjalmar Vedholms short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Sverker Martinsson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A sloppy throw-in by Michel Söderman in the 19th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Höjdens FC's Karl-Johan Axelsson. In the 28th match minute, Skurups AIF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Linus Blomqvist to maneuver through the defense. After 29 played minutes Hjalmar Vedholm rounded Skurups AIF's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-2. Hjalmar Vedholm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joachim Forsberg kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

Patrik Asklöv made in the 53rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Karl-Johan Axelsson however managed to control. In the 55th match minute, Skurups AIF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isak Ström to maneuver through the defense. After 64 played minutes Skurups AIF got a freekick which was hit by Linus Blomqvist. Michel Söderman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ingvar Dahlquist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. After some careless play in the Skurups AIF defense, Hjalmar Vedholm kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sverker Martinsson. The Skurups AIF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sverker Martinsson should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Jamus Kempes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ingvar Dahlquist. That made the score 3-3 in the 75 minute of play. Andréas Tolsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Sverker Martinsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sverker Martinsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hjalmar Vedholm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Andréas Tolsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Höjdens FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Andréas Tolsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sverker Martinsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 85 minutes into the match, Joachim Forsberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ingvar Dahlquist. Höjdens FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joachim Forsberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-4. A collision led to Höjdens FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Michael Albom hit a great ball. Sverker Martinsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andréas Tolsson went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-4 was the resulting score. Skurups AIF were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
