Tomas Hellström might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dennis Orioli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Hellström ran back to his position shaking his head. The long shot by Robert Fernkvist in the 34th minute really tested Stig-Åke Majman's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Fernkvist in the 35th minute of play forced Norrmalms IF's goalkeeper Stig-Åke Majman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jimmie Lövgren hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Stig-Åke Majman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roman Gniewek in the 36th minute. Dennis Orioli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karl-Michael Dahlberg went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 44th minute Melker Vennersten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stig-Åke Majman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute Robert Fernkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stig-Åke Majman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Robert Fernkvist made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in El Duderinos's zone, Karl-Erik Bäck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dennis Orioli came out of the goal and Karl-Erik Bäck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anthon Nyberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Dennis Orioli made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joakim Bennet got free with Dennis Orioli in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Robert Fernkvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stig-Åke Majman was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. 64 minutes into the match, El Duderinos's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Hellström came free, but Dennis Orioli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl-Michael Dahlberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Norrmalms IF getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Matthias Hjelm hit a great ball. When Petter Vallmark fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Duderinos's protests and gave Petter Vallmark a yellow card for diving instead. With a little luck, El Duderinos's Dennis Orioli got control of the ball when Joakim Bennet tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robert Fernkvist in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stig-Åke Majman saved Norrmalms IF from getting behind. Stig-Åke Majman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roman Gniewek's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. If Joakim Bennet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stig-Åke Majman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roman Gniewek in the 81st minute of the match. Norrmalms IF's Stig-Åke Majman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Fernkvist in the 84th minute of play. After 85 minutes Norrmalms IF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Robert Fernkvist who took care of the corner kick. Roman Gniewek took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stig-Åke Majman. Stig-Åke Majman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Roman Gniewek scored 3-2 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stig-Åke Majman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew the final whistle, El Duderinos could leave the field as winners, despite Norrmalms IF having more of the ball for most of the match.
