Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Hjalmar Andersson kicked off to start the match. Gert Bohlin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Abisko's zone, Ingvar Markusson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valdemar Berggren came out of the goal and Ingvar Markusson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 12th minute, Marko Mossberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute Hjalmar Andersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sten Östlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hudiksvall's Sten Östlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hjalmar Andersson in the 25th minute of play. After 26 played minutes Abisko got a freekick which was hit by Gösta Hultin. After having played for 32 minutes, Gert Bohlin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Abisko's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gert Bohlin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Valdemar Berggren made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Stig-Åke Kellberg sent off a good shot on target. In the 37th minute, Gert Bohlin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Abisko fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Sten Östlund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hjalmar Andersson's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. After some careless play in the Hudiksvall defense, Gert Bohlin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sten Östlund. The Hudiksvall fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sten Östlund should have stopped the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ingvar Markusson to make the kick off. If Ingvar Markusson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gert Bohlin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Sten Östlund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 73 played minutes, Abisko's Vilhelm Pååk shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sten Östlund came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Abisko reached it. If Gert Bohlin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 78th minute Hjalmar Andersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sten Östlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the game, Hjalmar Andersson lined in a short shot 0-4 behind a frustrated Sten Östlund. After 84 played minutes Hudiksvall got a freekick which was hit by Stig-Åke Kellberg. Patric Pålsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sten Östlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hjalmar Andersson in the 90th minute of the match. Sten Östlund didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 91st minute, which inside left pole to 0-5. The Abisko supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Abisko would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
